# About the AccessPulse badge

The badge shows the score and date of an automated scan of one page. It is not a statement that a site meets any accessibility standard or law.

## Limitations

- Automated tools find only part of the issues people with disabilities run into; keyboard use, screen-reader flow, meaningful alt text and many other WCAG criteria need human testing.

- The scan covers the single page that was checked, on the date shown. The badge stops showing a score 90 days after the scan.

- It is not an audit, a certification or legal advice, and it does not protect a site from complaints or claims.
