We reviewed the Closed Caption video at the crossing and the trespasser was pacing back and forth next to the crossing then the crossing gates came down with the train approaching the intersection . The trespasser entered the tracks waiting to be struck by the train and was struck . We followed up with the help of RTD police to ask for a status on the trespasser and found the trespasser was alive but did n't get a status of injuries . They would n't reveal this and would n't tell us how long they were in the hospital . Therefore this is an attempted suicide . |
