# PulseBenchResearchBot

Our research crawler collects aggregate, anonymous statistics about website accessibility and AI-search readiness by industry.

## What it does

- Reads a public homepage and at most 2 linked pages per site, plus /robots.txt and /llms.txt. GET requests only.

- Never submits forms, logs in, adds to cart or triggers any action.

- Waits at least 1 second between requests to the same site, and rescans at most once a month.

- Publishes only aggregate percentages across 30 or more sites. Individual sites are never named or linked.

- Identifies itself as PulseBenchResearchBot/1.0 (+https://zalwin.com/research-bot).

## Opt out

Add this to your robots.txt and the crawler will not read your site:

Or send us your domain through [support@zalwin.com](mailto:support@zalwin.com) and we will add it to our exclusion list and delete any stored results.

## ZalwinShowcaseBot (showcase audits)

A separate crawler runs Zalwin's free website checks on a short list of well-known public sites and publishes the results at [/p](/p), so visitors can see what each check looks at.

- Only factual checks of public pages (AI search readiness, structured data, sitemaps, social previews, technology used, signup and pricing pages and similar). No accessibility, privacy, legal or security results are published about other people's sites.

- GET requests only; never submits forms, logs in or triggers any action. Waits at least 1 second between requests to a site and rescans at most once a month.

- Honors robots.txt rules for ZalwinShowcaseBot, PulseBenchResearchBot and *, and identifies itself as ZalwinShowcaseBot/1.0 (+https://zalwin.com/research-bot#showcase).

- Every page shows the scan date and notes that it is an automated read-only check that may be incomplete.

Site owners can [request a correction or removal](/support?topic=correction). Removal of a showcase site is immediate, and the domain is never scanned again.

## ZalwinPriceLedgerBot (SaaSPriceLedger)

Reads the public pricing page of each product on the [SaaSPriceLedger](/saaspriceledger) list once a week to record list prices over time.

- One GET request per product per week once its pricing page is known (the first visit may try /pricing and then /plans). Never signs in, submits forms or starts a checkout.

- Honors robots.txt for ZalwinPriceLedgerBot, PulseBenchResearchBot and *; identifies itself as ZalwinPriceLedgerBot/1.0 (+https://zalwin.com/research-bot#price-ledger).

- Stores only extracted facts (plan names, list prices, billing period, per-seat and a few yes/no signals) with the date, never page copy or screenshots. Pages that fail or block the reader are logged as gaps.

Vendors can [request a correction or removal](/support?topic=correction); removed products are no longer read or shown.

## ZalwinLaunchRadarBot (LaunchRadar)

Finds new business websites from public Certificate Transparency logs and registry (RDAP) records, then reads each new site's homepage once.

- One GET request to the homepage of each newly registered domain; never follows forms, signs in or crawls further.

- Honors robots.txt for ZalwinLaunchRadarBot, PulseBenchResearchBot and *; identifies itself as ZalwinLaunchRadarBot/1.0 (+https://zalwin.com/research-bot#launch-radar).

- Keeps organization-level facts only (site name, industry, platform, country hint, link to the site's own contact page). No emails, phone numbers or people's names. Personal, parked and placeholder sites are discarded.

Site owners can [opt out](/support?topic=correction); the domain is removed and never checked again.

## ZalwinEnrichBot (business domain signals)

When someone scans a business domain on our site or signs up with a work email address, reads that business's public homepage once (results are cached for 30 days) to note which software tools it loads.

- One GET request to the homepage; never follows links, submits forms or signs in. Skipped when we already have a recent DisplacementRadar reading of the site.

- Honors robots.txt for ZalwinEnrichBot, PulseBenchResearchBot and *; identifies itself as ZalwinEnrichBot/1.0 (+https://zalwin.com/research-bot#enrichment).

- Business domains only (never personal webmail); nothing is published.

## ZalwinDisplacementBot (DisplacementRadar)

Reads the public homepage of about 20,000 company websites once a week, plus each domain's public MX record, to note which software tools the page loads.

- One GET request per site per week; never follows links, submits forms or signs in.

- Honors robots.txt for ZalwinDisplacementBot, PulseBenchResearchBot and *; identifies itself as ZalwinDisplacementBot/1.0 (+https://zalwin.com/research-bot#displacement-radar).

- Company domains only. Free pages show counts only; no company is named on them.

Site owners can [opt out](/support?topic=correction); the domain is removed and never read again.
