ACTIVITIES: PROVIDE HOME NETWORKING EQUIPMENT AND PRE-PAY BROADBAND SERVICE FEES FOR 100 TRIBAL HOUSEHOLDS; PROVIDE BROADBAND DEVICES TO ELIGIBLE HOUSEHOLDS WITHOUT ACCESS TO AN INTERNET-CAPABLE DEVICE; AND PURCHASE AND UPGRADE NETWORKING EQUIPMENT IN TRIBAL BUILDINGS. EXPECTED OUTCOMES: SUSTAIN BROADBAND ACCESS BY PROVIDING 24 MONTHS OF QUALIFYING BROADBAND SERVICE FOR 10 | THIS EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION PROJECT WILL SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADES AT THE MCCORD AND JAP BAY HIGH SITES TO STRENGTHEN RELIABILITY, RESILIENCE, AND LONG-TERM SERVICE CONTINUITY FOR THE NATIVE VILLAGE OF AKHIOK. THE PROJECT PROPOSES THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: REPLACE AGING EQUIPMENT INCLUDING GENERATORS AND INDOOR BATTERY SYSTEMS; AND UPGRADE ANTENNA SYSTEMS AND IMPLEMENT REMOTE MONITORING AND CONTROL ENHANCEMENTS.
