What we collect
- Usage data: pages viewed, tools run and how you use results and offers (for example time spent viewing a result, plan toggles and the optional "Tailor unlock for" choice), linked to a daily-rotating one-way hash of your IP address and browser and to a random first-party visitor ID kept in your browser's local storage (not a cookie, never shared) so we can recognize return visits. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the ID is not stored and lasts only for that tab. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
- What you submit: URLs, HTML, filters, and the email and company you enter for early access, checkout or support.
- Account keys: we store only a one-way hash of your API key.
- Payments: when billing is live, card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
How we use it
To provide and improve the tools, send the alerts you sign up for, answer support requests, prevent abuse, and understand which products are useful. We do not sell personal information.
When you scan a business domain or give us a work email address, we evaluate publicly available corporate and technical signals about that business domain (its public DNS and mail records, public filings in our own datasets, and the public homepage's headers and tools) to tailor product recommendations. We never do this for personal webmail addresses, never buy data from brokers, and never look up individuals.
Retention
Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and as required by law. Usage events are kept for up to 24 months. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and opt out of emails, by contacting [email protected]. Residents of California, the EU/EEA and the UK have additional rights under local law, which we honour.
Public records
Our feeds display information from public government records (for example USASpending.gov, SEC EDGAR, CPSC, NHTSA, EPA, FDA, CMS and SBA), limited to businesses and organizations where the source allows; we exclude records about private individuals such as sole proprietors. We are not a consumer reporting agency, and our data may not be used for credit, employment, tenant or insurance eligibility decisions. Your privacy choices
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track signals automatically: no visitor ID is stored in your browser when either is on. You can also clear the ID at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. To access or delete your data, contact us using the details below.
The HTML version of our emails includes a small image and routes links to our own site through a short redirect, so we can tell whether a message was opened and which link was used. We use this only to measure delivery and which emails are useful, never for advertising; the plain-text version carries neither, and blocking images turns it off.
We email you only about purchases, keys, alerts and digests you requested, the one launch notice for any waitlist you joined, and, if you start a checkout and do not finish it, at most one reminder with a link back to your result. Every non-transactional email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and we keep a suppression list so unsubscribed addresses are never emailed again.
